The Florida Supreme Court inched closer to online access to state court records this week. Despite dissenters' privacy concerns, the justices approved a court committee's controversial recommendation that the Florida courts should move to a statewide system of easily accessible online court records. The court also issued some guidelines outlining who is responsible for keeping private information out of public records.
