Puerto Rico in Court Record Feeds
Public access to court records topped the agenda of the 2002 annual meeting of the Conference of Chief Justices (CCJ) and the Conference of State Court Administrators (COSCA). CCJ brings together the highest judicial officers and COSCA brings together the state court administrators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the

Original Birth Certificate Retrieval - in Puerto Rico, as of July 20, 2006, a court order was still required to gain access to the original birth certificate. However, the laws are changing rapidly to allow easier access to these records. Some of the methods are existent, anyway. The statutes in Puerto Rico do not currently address the issue of the release of identifying information.

Criminal Court Records. ADP’s National Criminal History Database Search enables employer to quickly screen applicants against 120 million criminal court records across the entire United States. Availabilty: 3,187 U.S. counties and Puerto Rico.

A consent judgment was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. It prohibits the defendants from future violations of the minimum wage, overtime and recordkeeping provisions of the FLSA. Court order, signed 12 June, 2006, prohibits the defendants from taking retaliatory action against any employee who exercises their rights under the law.
